ICAN engineers and designers have come up with a technical breakthrough in 2021-- the astonishing Lizard – a carbon folding bike with 20” wheels and an excellent price.
This aerodynamic full carbon bike represents a huge step forward in performance for the folding bike market, with professional running gear. It's a steal at a mere $1190 and weighs only 10 kgms. No other folding bike can compete with it on price, performance or beauty. Folding Bike Lizard is considered the best folding bicycle under the $1200 .
The Lizard comes in blue, and is the perfect commuting and utility bike. As a proud owner enjoys steering it through the city on the way to work, other cyclists admire the good-looking bike's smooth, strong monocoque contours. Both the 20” frame and fork are laid up in a combination of Toray T700 and 800 carbon fiber, just like ICAN's top racing machines.
Commuting cyclists will note the Lizard's agility as it sweeps through corners and dodges obstacles. Also the slick gear changes of the nine-speed Shimano M2000 rear derailleur. At intersections and traffic lights, the Lizard has all the stopping power of hydraulic disc brakes – smooth, swift and safe. But it can also be a reliable work horse, which rolls on beefy, comfortable 1.75” tires, and is rated for a maximum load of 120 kgms on its 20” 24-spoke wheels with carbon aero rims.
The Lizard may handle well, sell for a supremely affordable price and look gorgeous – but it really comes into its own when the rider spins up to his or her destination. It takes only three easy steps to fold the rigid bike into a convenient package that's easily handled by a petite lady or a big guy of 100 kgms. Firstly, the alloy stem is folded in a single, secure movement, bringing the bars and brake levers, with it. Then the carbon seat post slides downward and is locked in the lowered position. Thirdly, the Lizard folds in half, on a hidden reinforced hinge just above the bottom bracket. All this is done without tools, using the rider's bare hands.
Carbon folding bike frame
It is worth mentioning that the entire folding bike uses a high content of carbon fiber.
Because of the configuration of the carbon folding bike frame, the entire bike will become lighter and stronger
And the Lizard owner now has a package measuring a compact 80cm x 64cm x 40cm. That's roughly equivalent to the volume of a big suitcase. But even a school child or petite lady can pick up this lightweight carbon bike. It weighs as much as a full shopping basket – only 10 kgms. That's what a professional racing cycle used to weigh before the days of carbon. The folded configuration goes easily into storage at home or at work. Or the trunk of a car.
The Lizard folding bike from ICAN will amaze commuters who are still struggling with old-fashioned machines. And it's tempting for those who have never considered a folding bike before. The Lizard is a machine which opens up new avenues in life, as a cutting-edge ICAN carbon design with high performance and low price – a professionally-inspired lightweight which can shrink to fit into a cupboard, a car, or the luggage racks of a train.
Now the Lizard folding bike are available at ICAN Cycling. You can buy it in advance.

Every manufacturer has jumped on the aero bandwagon or gone full aero for their high-end bikes in 2019. At this moment ICAN haven’t jumped on the aero bandwagon,. To Follow the trend of the market and meet the needs of customers, ICAN have been working through our aero designs, and releases the first AERO Road Disc Bike ICAN A9.
AERO Road Disc Bike A9 has top-notch configuration in the same price range.
Alex ,the Marketing Director from ICAN Cycling said :" We have followed the growth of aero bikes and their developments very closely. We have taken the science and fact that works and discarded the marketing fluff that comes with many of these new releases. We wanted to build an aero frameset and bike that quietly went about slicing through the air, which is our goal.
ICAN is a rapidly growing brand in the bike industry since 2009. Customers can find our footprints in major forums. Our products have always been loved by customers, so it is an inevitable trend to develop our own Road Disc Bike.”
The features of A9
The A9 like all of ICAN products is constructed from carbon fiber. They won’t give the carbon fiber a different name to disguise the quality of the quality of the carbon fiber they are selling you.
They use a blend of Toray T700 and T800 carbon fiber as the A9 main material. Toray T700 and T800 carbon fiber is currently one of the most mainstream materials in the carbon bike market. Many large manufacturers use it.
Now, what have they done with that carbon fiber? The first thing you might notice on the complete bike is that you can’t see any cable or hoses. They decided that there is no point in building an aero frameset if you are just going to let the cables flap about in the wind. So your cables are completely hidden using our new stem and frameset. Any watts that can be saved, they have saved them.
“When we think aero, we tend to think stiff bikes. There is a feature that ICAN first saw on the Merida Reacto, that of having a lower seat stays and they were intrigued. Testing allowed them to see that this design helped to bring the rear wheel in and shield it from the wind, it also gave a shorter wheelbase, and they’ll come back to that. It also causes the frame to be stiffer as the stays are shorter, the longer a set of stays get the more flex you encounter. Shorter stays also use less carbon fiber, so they are by default lighter as well. They really like the lower seat tube connection of our rear stays."The design director said.
The lowering of the seat stays and bringing the wheel in causes a few geometry changes. You will get a faster feeling bike thanks to bringing the rear wheel inwards.
ICAN Cycling found some people didn’t like all the way that bikes with short wheelbases. They found them too twitchy. They set to work on the geometry of the A9 to alleviate this issue. They ended up with geometry that is very close to that of a Scott Foil. Handily, it was a bike that many of our friends enjoyed riding. It is racy but has enough respite for ordinary mortals.
While testing the geometry they had to look at the fork, the fork’s offset and trail can be a significant factor in sorting the handling characteristics of your bike. ICAN also wanted a fork that blended into their frame, without any unsightly cutouts. ICAN wanted the frame and fork to appears as one and to work together to help you slice through the air.
ICAN's new fork and stem ended up looking very close to the new Specialized Venge front end, so did their new seat post, have you looked at the seatpost? It should be in a modern art gallery.
Thankfully though the head tube does not look a Venge’s, their headtube has been computer modeled and analyzed to make sure it will help guide you to victory in any sprints you might contest. If you would like to know what their head tube looks like ICAN feel their design is similar to that as found on the Willier Cento10, especially with it’s truncated tail design. That is why ICAN bike is so fast.
Chan, the CEO from ICAN said:"We have ridden all of the bikes mentioned here, we have cut them open, we have studied them, and we have worked out what worked on them and what didn’t. We feel we have achieved our aim to bring you the best aero bike for your money. We haven’t finished there though as we could also say that we have brought you the best aero disc brake bike for your money."
ICAN Cycling got all the way through this article, and the new A9 is designed around flat mount calipers. You can run a 160mm disc brake at the front and a 140mm disc brake at the back. So no matter how fast your push the A9 you can be sure of being able to stop in a hurry if you need to.
Other features they have added include thru axles. Thru axles allow you to discover the true braking power of road disc brakes. They also help to build a much stiffer wheelset and let all of your power be transmitted to the road. Thru axle wise, they have a 100 x 12mm at the front and 142 x 12mm at the rear.
