AERO wheelsets are the lightest carbon wheels we offer. This 50mm disc version weights just 1456g per pair (±20g). It is ideal not only for aero road bikes but also for riders who want to get faster on flats and hilly terrain.
The formula is simple: The deeper rims = the more aero = the faster ride.
These wheels were assembled and trued by our skilled wheel builders. No adjustments are needed. Just take them out of the box, put the tires on, and start riding.
Speaking of tires, we recommend a tire size of 25 or 28mm to maximize the aero benefits. However, the rims can accommodate up to 40mm tires.
We used high-quality Toray T700 & T800 carbon fiber and layered it in a way that ensures high stiffness and great longevity.
The heart of these wheels consists of our in-house designed hubs (Novatec hubs) with sealed bearings that connect Sapim CX-Ray spokes with the rim. This combination provides great stiffness. You will feel the forward movement immediately once you start pushing into your pedals.
Feel free to choose from one of two brake-type standards (center lock or 6-bolt) and driver body type (XDR 12 speed, Shimano 10/11 speed, and SRAM XD Driver ) before you place your order.

The lighter and high-performance road bike wheelsets
Our FL disc series was constructed out of Toray T700 carbon fiber. We used T700 as it allowed us to build a stiff and strong wheel rim. A rim that would not flex when you put the power down. A wheelset that could secure tubeless tires safely. A rim that helped to smooth turbulent air.
We wanted to keep all these great features but save some weight. We looked at our layup to see if it could be improved. After a lot of work, we discovered that the best way to lose weight was to combine Toray T700 carbon fiber with T800 carbon fiber.
The mixing of the fibers allowed us to build a wheelset with all the great qualities of the FL series but save around 100g per wheelset. Who wouldn’t want to save 100g?
To lace our hub to our carbon fiber rim, we are using aero Sapim CX-Ray spokes. We can find no other spoke that combines the lightweight and stiff qualities of CX-Ray spokes.

WHY THE WHEELSETS ARE TOO STIFF FOR HARDTAIL
The reason may be that the spokes tension of wheels is too high. Please check that the spokes tension to make it at a the proper range.
Why do i feel the freehub is a bit tight when backpedal
When riding for the first time, freehub needs to run in with the wheels. Just ride for a while, freehub will run well.

What is the difference between Alpha Disc and Aero Disc
The main difference between theses carbon road wheels is rim,spoke,hub.
1.Aero disc is lighter than Alpha disc,Aero disc use our superlight carbon rim. Alpha disc use our fast and light normal carbon rim.
2.Aero disc integrate Sapim CX-Ray Spokes,Alpha disc integrate Pillar SA1423 Spokes.

CAN ICAN WHEELS BE SET UP TUBELESS?
For ICAN’s current line up of wheels, most of wheels is tubeless compatible.
What is the best tire size for my ICAN wheels?
The best tire size for your wheel, which depends on the wheelsets type, size and the conditions you plan to ride the wheel in.
If you focus on speed,aerodynamic, each carbon wheel will have a specific recomended tire width, which is listed on specific product pages under rim specs.
We find(Not necessarily 100% correct):
- With a broader external width, ICAN Cycling wheels roll most optimally with a 25mm/28mm (actual width) tire.
- For Jet wheels, we recommend 25mm (actual width) tires, but 28mm (actual width) tires are still an excellent choice.
- Unless a podium step hangs in the balance, the difference in the speed of the Jet, using a 25mm tire versus a 28mm tire, works out to only 0.05 kph. That’s approximately 3 – 4 seconds over 40km.
