RATCHET TECHNOLOGY
The Ratchet System was the first of this type of freehub system for DT Swiss. The proven system is used in the mid-range of DT Swiss products like the 350 hub.The Ratchet System uses two conical springs to ensure the proper alignment of the ratchets. It is marginally heavier than Ratchet EXP.
DT Swiss hubs are designed to function optimally once installed in a bicycle. To achieve this, the clamping force created by the wheel mounting system must be taken into account when constructing a hub.The advanced BEARING TECHNOLOGY enables the hub to turn more smoothly, and the precision of one thousandth of a millimeter reflects the cutting-edge level of the industry.
We using the DT Swiss 350 or 240s straingt pull hubs.The term Straight pull refers to spokes with no bend at the head. This design allows for an ideal strength to weight ratio when compared to conventional spokes. Due to their more precise alignment and direct trajectory, straight-pull spoke technology creates a stiffer, more responsive wheel.
All ICAN Aero wheelsets are tubeless compatible and the ASM versions come tubeless ready, equipped with tubeless tape and valves. Tubeless ready ICAN rims have further advantages over conventional rims. The design of their cross section allows for the tire to easily pop in place when inflated, and more often than not a standard floor pump is all that‘s needed.

What is the difference between Alpha Disc and Aero Disc
The main difference between theses carbon road wheels is rim,spoke,hub.
1.Aero disc is lighter than Alpha disc,Aero disc use our superlight carbon rim. Alpha disc use our fast and light normal carbon rim.

What is the best tire size for my ICAN wheels?
The best tire size for your wheel, which depends on the wheelsets type, size and the conditions you plan to ride the wheel in.
If you focus on speed,aerodynamic, each carbon wheel will have a specific recomended tire width, which is listed on specific product pages under rim specs.
We find(Not necessarily 100% correct):
- With a broader external width, ICAN Cycling wheels roll most optimally with a 25mm/28mm (actual width) tire.
- For Jet wheels, we recommend 25mm (actual width) tires, but 28mm (actual width) tires are still an excellent choice.
- Unless a podium step hangs in the balance, the difference in the speed of the Jet, using a 25mm tire versus a 28mm tire, works out to only 0.05 kph. That’s approximately 3 – 4 seconds over 40km.
