Fancy building your own dream set of carbon fibre tubular aero wheels? This is the page for you, we offer our aero tubular rims with a selection of hubs and spoke choices. You can then pick the exact wheelset of your dreams and know that no corners have been cut to make you this wheelset.

We offer our tubular rims in 40, 50, 55 or 86mm depth. All are constructed from Toray T700 carbon fibre. All of them are stiff, strong, light, and affordable. You just need to pick the depth that suits your riding, or even better just buy four pairs and be prepared for everything. So whether you want to climb mountain passes or smash the local time trial league; we have the carbon fibre wheels rims for you.

You can choose to have our sealed bearing R13 hubs fitted, the carbon fibre shelled and sealed bearing Powerway R36 hubs or the industry-leading DT Swiss 240S hubs fitted. All of these hubs are easy to service and simple to look after, meaning more time riding, and less time fiddling. All of them are reliable and have been handpicked as the perfect match for our carbon fibre rims.

Spoke wise we offer you a choice of our aero spokes, the perfect match to our aero rims for those who want to slice through the air, or Sapim CX-Ray spokes. The Sapim spokes are light and stiff, they also lead the industry in fatigue resistance; great if you want your wheels to stay true. This way we can offer all of the variations with a two-year guarantee, as we have mixed reliability with speed and affordability.

4.What is the best tire size for my ICAN wheels?

The best tire size for your wheel, which depends on the wheelsets type, size and the conditions you plan to ride the wheel in.
If you focus on speed, aerodynamic, each carbon wheel will have a specific recomended tire width, which is listed on specific product pages under rim specs.

We find(Not necessarily 100% correct): With a broader external width, ICAN Cycling wheels roll most optimally with a 28mm (actual width) tire. For Jet wheels, we recommend 25mm (actual width) tires, but 28mm (actual width) tires are still an excellent choice. Unless a podium step hangs in the balance, the difference in the speed of the Jet, using a 25mm tire versus a 28mm tire, works out to only 0.05 kph. That’s approximately 3 – 4 seconds over 40km.
