Aero range is excellent, yes we shouldn’t sing our own praises, but the rims are awesome. So, it was only natural that we take one of the best carbon fiber rims available on the market and match it to some of the best hubs available on the market, DT Swiss. We are looking here at our general purpose 45mm deep carbon wheel here.
The rims are aero, stiff, strong, tubeless ready, and light. How did we do that? To better the weight and keep the quality we had to add some Toray T800 carbon fiber cloth to our recipe. The T800 allowed us to bring the weight down but also keep the wheels stiff.
We also improved the brake track when we were designing the Aero wheels. Aero wheels can cope with up to 300°.
We use Sapim CX-Ray spokes to lace the wheels. Sapim has been around for over 100 years, and their aero CX-Ray spokes are the pinnacle of their design knowledge. These spokes are super light and super stiff.
You can then pick from either the DT Swiss 240S or 350S. The 240S is the lighter option, and the 350S is the more affordable option. Both hubs feature the legendary DT Swiss quality, and with one ride you’ll see why so many pros pick DT Swiss hubs.
As with all our wheels, the AERO 45 is backed by our two-year warranty.

2-Way Clincher Tubeless. Tubes or No-Tubes

Sapim Secure Lock nipple is a locking mechanism that prevents nipples from untightening.Secure Lock nipple can achieve a stable and well defi ned deformation on the thread. Each nipple has an additional locking resistance of 18 +/- 3 cNm.

What is the difference between Alpha Disc and Aero Disc
The main difference between theses carbon road wheels is rim,spoke,hub.
1.Aero disc is lighter than Alpha disc,Aero disc use our superlight carbon rim. Alpha disc use our fast and light normal carbon rim.
2.Aero disc integrate Sapim CX-Ray Spokes,Alpha disc integrate Pillar SA1423 Spokes.

CAN ICAN WHEELS BE SET UP TUBELESS?
For ICAN’s current line up of wheels, most of wheels is tubeless compatible.
What is the best tire size for my ICAN wheels?
The best tire size for your wheel, which depends on the wheelsets type, size and the conditions you plan to ride the wheel in.
If you focus on speed,aerodynamic, each carbon wheel will have a specific recomended tire width, which is listed on specific product pages under rim specs.
We find(Not necessarily 100% correct):
- With a broader external width, ICAN Cycling wheels roll most optimally with a 25mm/28mm (actual width) tire.
- For Jet wheels, we recommend 25mm (actual width) tires, but 28mm (actual width) tires are still an excellent choice.
- Unless a podium step hangs in the balance, the difference in the speed of the Jet, using a 25mm tire versus a 28mm tire, works out to only 0.05 kph. That’s approximately 3 – 4 seconds over 40km.
